EXID – Night Rather than Day

While some of the fans seems a bit underwhelmed by this new EP, Eclipse is by far my favorite release from EXID. Yes, we miss Solji’s incredible vocals while she’s recovering, but it forced the production of songs where everyone is singing more “comfortably”, in their natural range. And the laid-back style is perfect for my taste. “Boy” also offers an electro sound that I’m really enjoying.

I’m not surprised that some fans consider the title track quite boring / bland, considering the previous releases, but I do hope this EP will not flop.
