PURPLE KISS – Ponzona

Another “real” debut this week, with the 1st track for Mamamoo’s sister group, Purple Kiss. I do like it, but music-wise, I prefer “Can We Talk Again“.

The track was made by Swan for their monthly evaluation as a trainee, and 2 other members helped polish it (Goeun and Yuki). Review.

Some fun facts (that I stole in the YT comments):

Park Jieun: Participated in Produce 48, plays guitar, can speak Japanese
Na Goeun: Also participated in P48 and placed 29, I’d say the all-rounder of the group in terms of dancing and singing
Dosie: Presumably the main dancer, along with Ireh and Chaein choreographed their pre-release sing My Heart skipped a beat
Ireh: Former YG trainee team 2, funnily she’s quite shy even when her aura on stage is so powerful
Yuki: Japanese member, amazingly writes her own raps, oh, you will know her laugh just from watching behind the scene clips
Chaein: Also former YG trainee, participated in kpop star and performed with the Leechae sisters (IZ*ONE’s Chaeyeon and Itzy’s Chaeryeong)
Swan: Speaks English, did vocal guide for Chungha’s Snapping and Mamamoo’s Wind Flower … at the age of 15
